Bow Windows Bookshop was first founded in 1964 and later moved to its current and more central location in the East Sussex town of Lewes in 1994.

Bow Windows is an antiquarian bookshop which buys and sells a range of second-hand and collectable books including; first editions, signed books, and classic children’s books.  The books are mostly quite expensive – although some less pricey finds might be hidden on the shelves – if you’re looking for something special for a friend (or for yourself) this might be the place to look.

Not only are the books here beautiful old treasures but the bookcases on which they are currently housed are stunning to look at. These bookcases include some that I would personally love to see in my own home with glass fronted doors to keep the dust off your precious book collection. This lovely interior only adds to the unique appearance and atmosphere of this independent bookshop.
