June is a Full-time mum and Book Lover from Brighton. She tells us which books she would take if faced with an apocalypse.

June’s Fallout 5:

1. The SAS survival guide – How to Survive in the Wild on Land or Sea by Lofty Wiseman: I think the reasons behind this choice are fairly obvious. (Amazon UK/ Amazon US)

2. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen: A comforting classic (Amazon UK/ Amazon US)

3. The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy: A personal favourite of mine (Amazon UK/ Amazon US)

4. Palgrave’s Golden treasury: A classic poetry collection that I was given in childhood and which I still love today. (Amazon UK/ Amazon US)

5. The Oxford English Dictionary: For fun and interest; it might get pretty boring in that shelter if we were there for long (Amazon UK/ Amazon US)

You Suddenly have to run from the bunker, you can only save one book, which do you rescue?

Assuming I could only take one book with me when we left, it would have to be the copy of the Qur’an that was already there when I arrived, for personal comfort and strength.
