wbd World Book Day 2015 falls on 5th of March and as always, school children will be given National Book Tokens to the value of £1, which can be spent on special books which can be exchanged for the voucher alone, or used to get £1 of any book of their choice.

This years Would Book Day, £1 books include; Elmer’s Parade, The Diary of Dennis the Menace, Best Mates by Michael Morpurgo and Killing the dead by Marcus Sedgwick. As always there is a £1 book for all age group, for a list of all the £1 books visit the World Book Day Website.

This year author Malorie Blackman (author of the Noughts and Crosses series) is launching an free, online, Book Day festival, for teenagers, called WBD, TeenFest. The website will have two evenings of Books, Authors and Fun all online. WBD TeenFest allows teenagers to get writing tips, win books and connect with their favourite authors.
